A great Champagne from the south

Rácz Lilla Pezsgő (Champagne)

2016 vintage. This is Lilla's 10th sparkling harvest. This time it is a blend of 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir. Freshly degorging, the base wine was bottled in April 2017. So it's been on the fine broom for 32 months. The usual brut nature category with 0 grams / liter of residual sugar. It has a more elegant, discreet fragrance, a bit more serious than previous years. It is a more champagne character, shows more yeasty notes, but retains its favorite fruity character. A total of 2000 bottles were made. Highly recommended if you don't want a dozen champagne!
